UPS AND DOWNS GAME
INSTRUCTIONS
Be the first little Critter to go from Square number 1 to Square number 100.
NOTE: Two or more Critters CANNOT occupy the same Square at the same time. If a Critter lands on a Square that is occupied, he/she should move ahead to the first vacant Square along the path. If a player is on Square 99, he/she must stay on Square 99 until he/she spins the number one in order to move to Square 100.
When a player reaches Squares 56, 57, 61, 62, 82 and 83, he/she jumps right over the spinner and continues moving on the other side.
If a player stops on a Square at the BOTTOM OF A LADDER, he/she must move up to the TOP of the LADDER. For example, if a player lands on Square 4, he/she must move up to Square 27 and on his/her next turn, the player will continue moving toward Square 100. LADDERS LEAD UP ONLY.
If a player stops on a Square at the TOP OF A SLIDE, he/she must slide down to the Square at the BOTTOM of the SLIDE. For example, if a player lands on Square 77, he/she must slide down to Square 18 at the bottom of that SLIDE. On his/her next turn, the player will continue moving toward Square 100. SLIDES LEAD DOWN ONLY.
For moving, the Squares are counted as regular Squares when a slide or ladder passes through them.
The first little Critter to reach Square 100 wins the game. Square 100 must be reached by an EXACT spin of the spinner or by the Ladder from Square 70.
If a player is near Square 100, but spins a number that would take him/her past it, the player does not move. He/she must spin again on his/her next turn until the EXACT number is spun, to move into Square 100.
